Burner
Collars
Most heater manufacturers do
not worry about the excess temperatures that occur near the
burner end of a heater. To prevent coils from seeing
excess radiant and convective heat, TFS utilizes a refractory
collar prevents the upper coils from exposure to high
temperatures. This is crucial not only to the longevity of
your coils, but to your fluid. Excess temperatures can
cause coking and ultimately tube failure if heat is trapped in
this region of the heater.
The combination of TFS 3-Pass
coil design, properly
designed exhaust stack and
blower, create a natural draft
effect that forces combustion
air freely through the heater.
